Silent Table

  One of the family members here at the villa, Roselle, has set up a dance piece called the "Silent Table."  It was first shown this year in New York City on September 11th.  It is a very powerful piece, performed in complete silence.  She decided to perform this piece again in Assisi, just outside of Perugia, the day before the Pope was to arrive.  We had the opportunity to photograph the practices and the event.  It was a great opportunity to see this performance, but was very hard to shoot without a flash in very low light.  I had to compensate and shoot most of the event photos hand held at 1/60th at iso 1600 on a friends canon rebel, as my camera was filming the event.  Overall I was able to come up with some shots that were able to give an impression on what this event was!  As I am short for time and have unstable internet, I will have to post settings at another point.  Cioa!
